BOATHOUSE BOSPHORUS

Interior Design, Built, Co-created

Designed by Alexander Vallaury in 1890, this historical wooden house stands gracefully along the shores of Istanbul’s Bosphorus, in Yeniköy — once a serene retreat for summer escapes and healing rituals. The house was envisioned as a poetic gathering place, where intimate celebrations and meaningful creative encounters unfold against the romantic backdrop of the Bosphorus.

Gem Alf’s involvement was the foundation of this project, bringing it to me and setting the stage for its creation. While designing this space together, we worked hand in hand, pouring our combined efforts into every detail. Each element was thoughtfully chosen and carefully placed, ensuring a seamless harmony that reflects our shared vision and partnership.
